Couldnt find a thread on this and wondered if anyone was planning to get it?

Think its due out soon.. wanted to get your thoughts?

Its basically a cross between Total War and 99 Knights.. but with some decent RPG elements.. So you should like it

PS. Its on 360 and PS3 btw.

Its done by creative asembley as well

They have gone into some cool resear with norse myths and stuff as well .. so expect some LOTR type huge battles..

Well no there hasnt been much hype which suprises me considering its one of the big titles for early 2008.. includes voice acting from Brian Blessed so must be good

Not long to go now. Just read the little preview on GameSpy and it has my mouth watering.

Yep this game has been on my radar for ages, I mean come on its made by creative assembly...creators of Total War.

Only a few more weeks now.

Couple more recent reviews out now. It got a rather icy score of 6.5 from IGN which is a little bit dissapointing.

8.2 from Team Xbox but I guess that's to be expected.

Both reviews mention slowdown in the big battles and how the game gets repetitive after a while. Still I'm going to keep it on preorder as it looks like a larf.

That IGN review seriously got me re-considering paying full price for this. Looked like just the kind of thing I could enjoy, but now thinking might be better as a rental... sigh.
