Just thought i would share as i am quite happy at the moment although the car does need a few bits sorted out like the engine bay has car cancer near the right hand wing and the bumper is skew wiff.

I had to LOL when I looked back up at your location.

Anyway, looks in pretty good nick but I can't help but feel it needs wider/spaced wheels for those arches. I went in a freshly tuned RS turbo a few years back and it went pretty well. About as refined as a wild horse mind you.

well being from round here i wanted one when i was 16 but this came up 3 days ago and its is mint so i had to buy it never had one so might as well only live once which is a bad thing to say around a car like this :)

I hate it :( lol soz but I just do..

that's OK not everyone will like it but i love it stupid Essex

That is rather sweet, brings back memories of the 80's when there were loads more about.

Shows how well a car can last when it's looked after :)

Whats the mileage on it?

Love it. God knows why but I have a huge soft spot for 80s Fords. RS Turbo Escorts and Fiestas, XR4is, XR4x4s, Sierra Cosworths.... they're all awesome in my book.

Looks in decent condition but your idea of 'mint' differs from mine. To me 'mint condition' implies perfection, not necessarily originality but there should be nothing on the car where you'd look at it and thing "that could do with sorting out". If it was truly mint it wouldn't have rust in the engine bay, the bumper wouldn't be skew whiff, the front valance wouldn't be patched up and there wouldn't be overspray on what looks like a headlight mounting bracket.

I agree, it's a good example but a million miles away from mint.

This is mint:

Why the hatred for this car chaps?

Of the ERST made the S1s are by far the coolest. I even had one on my "maybes" when buying another Impreza.

Convertible isn't my COT at all but S1s are pretty cars.
