Valentino Rossi & F1

As much as I love F1.. I would never want to see Rossi in a car.. I'm sure he would be good.. damn good..

We cant take the risk that we may miss a battle with Stoner at Laguna or a final bend overtake on Lorenzo at Catalunya.

On the other hand gord - we could always hope Rossi tries to proove you can overtake as much in F1 as much as bikes ;)
Whilst we all know it can't happen, it will be fun to watch! :D

He'd be an awesome character to have in F1. But I'd rather he stays in bikes :)

This tbh. Apart from the first 6 words, I only put F1 on when I need a kip.

i thought he said he never swap as he loves bike racing too much. rallying is obviously something he could do after hes too old for the bikes

i dont see why hed want to do it anyway. motogp > *

Rossi will ride for ducati before he will go to 4 wheels be it F1 or rally

His contract is up at the end of the year and so is Haydens at Ducati, so for me he will end up there for 2011.

He did make threats (since retracted) at the end of the year that if Yamaha didnt make him undisputed number 1 in the team he'd be off to Ducati. Still think he'll go anyway, Rossi on the red bike will be fantastic (if he can tame it).

if stoner can tame it Rossi can for sure
the other riders that haven't been able to aren't in the same league as Rossi

True, but a world champion in Hayden(ok, not a great one but a world champion non the less) and Melandri are hardly poor riders, as the performances on lesser bikes has shown (especially Melandri) - yet Stoner has absolutely blown them out the water, even when very unfit.

I think even someone as great as Rossi is going to need some adapting to it.

well yeah it took home a few races to get the Yamaha to his liking
Hayden i have never rated, the year he won it it was really Rossi that lost it and he just happen to be the one to pick it up.
if you look at points scored when both finished the same race Rossi was the clear winner it just Rossi fell a few and the yam broke down
