This better be awesome. They have had enough time, though I do think it is going to be crap.
I think it'll be a fun game, though i can imagine it will get a lot of hate just for the sake of it.
It will get soooo much hate for being an old school shooter and not being filled with new features and deep but if it had any of those then it wouldnt be Duke. Some big guns, uggly baddies and some randomly interactable scenery and ill be more than happy.
I just wonder that 2k just bought the rights for it and rushed it to a playable state and will sell it just cos ppl will pay to see what this game is like after such a long dev time.
Im not expecting a heck of a lot from it. I think they made the gfx nice but thats about all i can tell. If it has gameplay like from duke nukem back in the early 90s i think it was then cool if not and is just a crap serious sam type of game which i hated as the enemies never stop then pah..

At least has AA working and no defered lighting crap (lookin at gta iv)
Has strippers where u offer money and duke says somit cool
Nude strippers
Secret passages like in the original.
Same level design like original.
Half linear and half open world
A VAST selection of duke nukem sayings for lots of situations.
Shotgun like it was in the old games. And other guns from quake era not modern crap ones.
Generally cool duke stuff. With loads of blood and guts.

Apparently it was near complete around mid 2009, after 2k refused 3dr money to complete it some staff worked at it in their own time (triptych studios). When gearbox got the game it was around 95% complete so doesn't seem as if its been rushed out.
