That's looking good!

The only thing I have been trying to find out is about fan control?

Are all fans controllable on all headers including 3 pin fans?

I test this for you sometime later today..

(As right now i only have my CPU 4pin fan & chassis 2pin fans plugged in..)

Thanks,

I will be putting it in a FT02 so will run a PWM splitter to the cpu header for the 2 cooler fans and the 3 pin exhaust to a chassis header.

What are your overall impressions so far?

Edit: Does the box contain any sata III cables? Thanks

What mouse are you using. I can't get my razer copperhead to work in the UEFI Bios. I have update firmware and all drivers but it just won't work. I have tried a cheap mouse and that does work. I cannot figure out what else to try and after searching all forums have found no one with an answer so far.

Any ideas?

Hi Nice setup but ive got 2 questions

Id also like to find out if the 3 pin fans can be controlled thu the bios or Asrock windows software, this is gonna save a lot of time/money/cable managment if I can reduce the power to those fans and make them silent !

Also does the EFI bios offer a faster boot time then the old style text bios ?

What I mean by the above is that do you still see the normal boot bios screens ie cpu name, hdd primary/slave and ram count and all the other pointless text about ports and connections, or does it just switch on and go to windows loading screen saving 10-15 seconds ?

My microsoft wireless 8000 mouse don't work in the bios screen (arrow keeps going down)

But my microsoft wired mouse works fine..

I Seen asus p67 owners with this mouse no work in the bois problem as well..see quote below
I still can't use my mouse in the bios. Just drifts to the left and selects things randomly. Grrr.

You no see the old boot text with this board....

It has a very quick boot time...the bios screen (picture) shows for only about 1 second

My system takes 45 seconds to boot into windows 7 64bit using an old 150GB raptor

What is that mounting tray that you use? Is it a media PC case? If so where does the PSU / Hard drive / CD Drive go?

If its just a test bench, where can I get one?

Yeah I have a Mircosoft wireless laser mouse 5000 on my Asus board and my mouse doesn't work in the efi bios. So it looks like I'm not the only one having this problem.

It the motherboard tray that slides out my TJ07 case :)

You slide the tray out fit the motherboard, CPU, CPU cooler, memory, GPU card / etc and then slide the tray back in ;)

PSU & harddrives are mounted underneath in the bottom part of my case

I bought two other mice, one roccat and one other razer one. Neither of them worked in the bios either. Only the old, cheap one does. Strange. Ah well both expensive mice go back to the shop then and money saved. I am very happy with this motherboard so far-long may it continue.

Thanks for the help!

Lovely Case!

I have to assemble my stuff on the motherboard box and then lift it in, but other than the lack of a slide out tray, my P182 is still pretty perfect for a case.

If the mice works perfectly fine in windows is there any point in sending them back? I just use the keyboard to navigate round the bios. Its a bit of a pain though as options get selected randomly.
