What about smaller items which are posted Royal Mail - the free delivery option on some items?

Will these be collected Saturday, for processing over the weekend, and hopefully delivery Monday?

People's drunk purchases on a Friday night/Saturday morning will now dawn on them on Monday, instead of Tuesday now, I guess!

It is indeed just a DPD thing, having a friend working for them and a friend in RM also its just DPD (he moans about saturday pickups

Could we choose DPD Next Day as the free delivery option if it defaults to Royal Mail for the items we've selected?

If the item is a small item, for example some memory, flash drives, or a cable, then it will usually select Royal Mail 1st Class for the free delivery, if you add a few more items or order larger items then it will choose DPD - It is also worked out by the value of the item too.
