ORDER ON SATURDAY - GET IT ON MONDAY!

I ordered a new cooler yesterday and the weight was just under for DPD Next day delivery and was originally going to sent RM.

After enquiring about when the cooler will be shipped,i was then told the parcel has upgraded to DPD NDD,cant moan at that:)

I use 3 large companies and I have an account manager in each one and I make them fight over the prices :D We spend thousands of pounds every months so its important to get good prices :p Well it is always good to get the price even if it is £20 product :rolleyes: . Last month I bought the most expensive server cabinets that I have ever bought... £5000 for 2 x 24u cabinets :eek:

I think the lack of explicit business features at OcUK, such as acct managers, is a definite drawback. Also the layout and "character/demeanour" of the website is rather consumer-centric, which is off-putting for ignorant manager types (even the name itself perhaps!).

If anyone is wondering, the cabinets was acoustic ones... :cool:

I am the manager, so if any of my IT crowd gets anything from OcUK I don't blink. But of course as you said, others might react differently. There are many companies that have two names... One for normal consumers and one for business customers. So OcUK could add a business orientated brand name and a staff that deals with business customers. OcUK has the products... they are good at that. Of course they could still expand their range :)

Ok, the topic was about delivery and I have become distracted. The point is that better delivery options is also good for business customers and not just overclockers.

Something Spie should not forget is that the overclockers who visit the forum or shop are or grow up to be potential customers who could spend more money than they did when they where little overclockers... like me :) What I am trying to say is that the customers he has now can bring in even more money in the future.

Now what could OcUK's business orientated name be? :D

BocUK.. Business Overclocked UK? Ok I am getting my coat....

stuff like this has wound me up in the past with delivery companies. same with no deliveries after 5 for some in the past.

this kind of move is always good :)
 
fair play, i take my hat off for you guys offering this great service and especially free of charge for loyal forum members... this kind of service and offer really makes me want to stick around and hit my 100 post mark and beyond.
