There's really no telling what could happen tomorrow at Apple's little event. Sure, the company could talk about its success with iOS devices, how well the iPad has sold, and then introduce a brand new version of the wildly popular tablet... but maybe there'll be surprises too. We can't say for sure at this point, but that's okay, because come 10AM PST (1PM EST), we're going to be delivering all the news as it happens with the industry's best liveblog right here on Engadget.

What is Rumoured at this event?
  • New iPad 2 Unveiled - The unveiling of the latest iPad to be released is rumoured to appear
  • Cloud-Based MobileMe - The possibility of a new "Cloud-Based" MobileMe service has been rumoured for a while now
  • "Lion" OS Feature Release - Possible announcements on future features for the new OS, due in the Summer

Where can I watch this Apple Event?

It has yet to be announced whether this Apple Event will be streamed live, however many of your favourite blogs are promising live-feeds...

As always, Apple are kind enough to upload the keynote shortly after it's finished. You are often able to stream it from Apple Events or alternatively, you can wait 24 hours after the keynote to download it in high quality straight from your iTunes!

The keynote starts at 10:00 AM (PT), also known to us brits as 18:00 PM, on the 2nd March 2011! Be there!

Other times are:
08:00AM - Hawaii
10:00AM - Pacific
11:00AM - Mountain
12:00PM - Central
01:00PM - Eastern
06:00PM - London
07:00PM - Paris
09:00PM - Moscow
11:30PM - Mumbai
03:00AM - Tokyo (March 3rd)
05:00AM - Sydney (March 3rd)

I wonder of they'll incorporate the new thunderbolt connection for speedier syncing, I mean with what may be large capacities, the USB 2 transfers are just horrible. I hate having to sync my 8gb iphone 2G. Can't imagine a 64 or perhaps 128gb device.

According to an "Apple staffer" in the Macrumors article, the cloud storage/streaming will be for iTunes-purchased content only, and that Apple are still considering allowing users to upload their own content to stream :(

The Apple staffer, who asked to remain anonymous for obvious reasons, said the new MobileMe service will store music, TV shows, and films that were purchased from the iTunes store. The staffer also said that there was talk inside Apple of being able to upload all your music and videos to the cloud whether it was purchased from iTunes or not. However, they couldn’t confirm whether this will be rolled out or not.
Still, I can't wait to see what happens.

Tell me about it! I choose to down-sample my tracks to 128kbps for the iPhone and even then the 16GB of converted music I end up with takes an age to sync for the first time (not including the time to down-sample). I can't see thunderbolt on the iPad, not yet. iPad 3 maybe.

Always look forward to these, I have an iPad but will be skipping this gen, but kinda love the presentation of it all.....very strange...hate to be a fanboi but its hard not to get cuaght up in things lol.

I hoping for a revamp for mobileme to justify the £60 sub I have and I'm expecting an iPad 2 with thunderbolt cable. Also a preview for iOS 5.

Thunderbolt in an ipad? There is no way! You will not find an intel chipset in an ipad, especially one that needs as much room as thunderbolt does.

Uh, devices can have thunderbolt interfaces :) like the new range of hard drives etc. what would be the point of only having thunderbolt on the macbook pros with nothing to connect to them :D

You'll most likely get the i3 and Intel gfx in the mac mini potentially, although I too hope for a decent CPU/Gfx in the next mac mini.

The sad thing is mate, I know your absolutely right and that's probably a dream for even an i3 still.

I guess everything apart from the ipad/phone/pod will receive a thunderbolt port.
