Apart from spend it :D

Is there anything worthwhile to make a bit of money with £1000.

Savings accounts are all so terrible these days, that the interest you make just doesn't seem worth the effort of using them :(

You need more to do any of the actual suggestions that come out of this thread.

Your options are gamble it or bank it. I'd like to bank, please, Anne.

Current Interest rates aren't worth anything when it comes to small investments. So I'd say forsake that small growth exchanging it instead for the slim but not totally non-existent chance of a big win - Premium Bonds.

If you're looking for a long term investment and want to take a bit more of a risk, consider a stocks and shares ISA. It's a lot more of a faff to set up compared to a cash ISA but the rewards a normally higher though your investment can lose money.

Swing trade RBS, seriously.

Any good links about this ?

Maybe my optimism levels need to be sky high for this, but this is actually quite tempting.
