good cider?

If you want to really taste the apples, then you want an Appletini.

Easy on the tini, of course.

Westons most of them
Sheppys most of them
Thatchers most of them
Old bristolian
Exhibition
Black rat

To name just a few

Oh and new Forrest cider, they have a stall at borough Market. Always go there first get a pint, then wonder around the Market.

Most have already been (or will be shortly) mentioned by others. Since you appear strapped for cash (guess since you drinking tesco value cider lol) Sainsburys vintage cider was on offer recently, 3x 75cl for £5 and it's made by Thatchers according to the label. I bought some and it was quite nice, if a little sweet for me (they only had medium - do they do a dry) but would definitely buy again for the price :)

Magners!

Though pear magners is nicer.

No... Just no.

Drinkable and tastes okish, but way overpriced. At least Strongbow etc are cheap. You can buy something good for Magners money.

I really like Green Goblin cider (didn't realise this is made by Thatcher's, never bothered me too much :P), although I'll drink anything.
Bulmers is quite nice and I also don't mind Kopparberg/Rekorderlig which come on offer in supermarkets fairly often. The last 2 are pretty sweet and I can't drink much of them, though.

I actually really like Savana Dry I am not sure why but it really is a nice cider. I suppose i`m not really that fussy but I with have something other than strongbow if available anything that is made for the mass market tends to be over sulphated to maintain freshness.
