good cider?

no one tried the new stella artoir cider??? bloody lovely

its nice, but i find it overly sweet. and i like em strong too.

old rosie cloudy is good stuff.

had some real strong still cider the other day. totally knocked me for six as i was drinking it like apple juice. it was great stuff.

Most of the 'best' supermarket ciders are average at best. Some of the Westons stuff is good, Henney's stuff is good too. The best stuff I find comes from farm shops or places that sell it by the pint from the barrel (although there aren't many places like that).

You should drive around the back roads in the west country, every other farm has scrummpy for sale signs.

I get my poison direct from Thatchers farm in Sandford, straight out of the huge oak barrels, a refill of my 5L container only costs me £7, either the sweet or the Cheddar valley for me.

Anyone who says Magners/Bulmers/Stella Cider is good needs a slap TBH

My faveourite is black rat perry cider, though technically not a cider I guess. Anyone saying the usual Strongbow, Bulmers, Magners etc really needs to go to a beer festival and taste some proper ciders.
