New in Version 285.79

Includes several bug fixes and performance improvements for Battlefield 3.
Fixes cases of irregular performance (stuttering) primarily seen on DirectX 10 GPUs. The fix improves the performance of both DX10 and DX11 GPUs.
Fixes shadow map corruption seen with DirectX 10 GPUs.
Fixes cases of black corruption lines/triangles with DirectX 10 GPUs.
Fixes black screen during playback using Windows Media Center.
Added or updated SLI profiles for the following games:
Aion v3.0
Anno 2070
Assassins Creed: Revelations
Bastion
Need for Speed: The Run
Payday: The Heist
The Adventures of Tintin
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim
Added or updated the following 3D Vision game profiles:
Airline Tycoon 2 – rated Fair
Assassin's Creed: Revelations – rated Good
Batman: Arkham City – updated rating to 3D Vision Ready

Fixes a bug that prevented PhysX from being accelerated on Optimus PCs.

Changes & fixed issues in this release
Supports NVIDIA PhysX acceleration on all GeForce 8-series, 9-series, 100-series, 200-series, 300-series 400-series and 500-series GPUs with a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory and 32 CUDA cores. Note: Some applications may have higher minimum requirements.
Experience GPU PhysX acceleration in many games and demos, some of which are highlighted in PowerPack downloads here.
Supports NVIDIA PhysX acceleration on GeForce via CUDA 3.0 for SDK versions 2.7.1, 2.7.3, 2.7.4, 2.7.5, 2.7.6, 2.8.0, 2.8.1 and 2.8.3 (requires graphics driver v196.21 or later).
Supports control of your GPU PhysX configuration from the NVIDIA display driver control panel. (Requires graphics driver v196.21 or later).
AGEIA PhysX processors users should use and install older PhysX system software such as version 8.09.04. Note – AGEIA PPU acceleration support for 2.8.1 SDK or earlier, and Windows Vista and Windows XP only.

I have been getting a lot of issues with BF3, if anyone gets any improvement with these drivers would they post it? I have had enough of gaffing with drivers unless I know they're going to work...

yay this driver fixed all my BF3 problems

Only done about 30mins of testing, but BF3 seems smoother and i can't find any problems with the shadows, framerates are the same though, noticed there is a profile for MW3 now, but don't have that yet.

Steam compress the games. That's not the total file size.

Well I wonder if these will actually work on my system, any driver numbered 28*.** from Nvidia and my system wont start, giving me BSOD and Error code 116 "NVLDDMKM" before the login screen and I have no PC until I boot into safe mode and remove them.

I know certain people have issues with crashes with the 28*.** and above drivers, but I cant even get into windows with them.

275.33 is all I can use and its annoying as the new drivers are optimised for BF3.....hope the above works.

This fixes any stuttering that was only sorted by going back to 280.xx previously.
