CLEAVE - The Circle (Japanese melodic hardcore punk)
Daylight - The Difference Between Good and Bad Dreams (dark, brooding, moody post-hardcore/indie).

Got a few I still need to check out too. Like Devil Sold His Soul, The Chariot, We Are the Ocean, Killer Mike, Brother Ali, Propagandhi, Coheed and Cambria, and I hear there's a new Dinosaur Jr. album out too

Yeah I have no idea how links to last fm work so I'll just do a list.

Busdriver - Beaus$Eros. Not his best work but still decent.
Napalm Death - Utilitarian.
Meshuggah - Koloss.
Architects - Daybreaker. Return to form after the disappointing The Here and Now.
Gojira - L'Enfant Sauvage. Best opening track of the year for me.
Murder Construct - Results.
Cattle Decapitation - Monolith of Inhumanity. Similar to The Harvest Floor but better.

There are at least ten albums still to come though so my list is likely to change.

Ne Obscliviscaris - Portal of I

There have been others but this is in a different league to anything else I've heard this year.

My stand outs so far

Jessie Ware - Devotion
Frank Ocean - Channel Orange
Two Door Cinema Club - Beacon
Alt J - An Awesome Wave
The Cast Of Cheers - Family

Only three stand out for me so far:

The xx - Coexist
Burial - Kindred (EP)
Frank Ocean - Channel Orange (really surprised me, much better than I expected)

It's a thread for best albums of 2012 and you're linking every social networking site the label is a member of! Which leads me to assume you work for them :p

The original post said "just wondering what new stuff everyone else has been listening too this year". Well, mostly Sonic Pieces releases. Of which Dictaphone the most. So I linked to Dictaphone and the label and it's social network stuff as some people might want to follow them or listen to the music. And the social networking stuff isn't linked from the artist or label site. So it would save them searching.

That's called being helpful. I wish I made commission for recommending stuff.
