I would greatly appreciate it if someone with a similar setup could comment. Trawling lots of threads and benches on the Internet and it doesn't seem to be clarifying things!

As setter said you really need to post this in the Heaven thread.

As to your score, its very low.

Try ocing your CPU to 3.8 or 4.0ghz (the higher the better) to stop it bottlenecking your cards.

Then post the results in the heaven thread and compare.

Very low score though.

Doubt it, Heaven even with a terrible CPU is still capable of pushing decent SLI/CF scores.

Are you sure you're using the correct settings and no super extreme turn this baby up to 11 settings?

just to check and it may be obvious but....

you do have SLI enabled in the nvidia control panel yeah? mine disables when ever I install new drivers and I forget to turn it back on some times :D

My stock clocks are 1202Mhz, so if your CPU is also at stock (like mine is, this is why your score was low. Get a decent overclock on your CPU and you will see the difference big time. Deffo CPU bottlenecked.

Its definetly his CPU even @4.0ghz there is a bottleneck but nothing like it would be @2.66ghz.

With my nvidia cards I get a 15% increase in frames going from 4.0ghz to 4.9ghz on the CPU.

Thanks for all the helpful replies. To address a few points:

- My CPU is already clocked to 3.6 GHz

- SLI is definitely enabled on the NCP. The Hardware is hooked up correctly with an SLI Bridge and using MSI Afterburner, I can see that both GPUs are loading up to 99%

- Using a single card the scores I am getting are as follows:

FPS: 72.2
Scores: 1819
Min FPS: 26.6
Max FPS: 170.0

So there is some degree of scaling when enabling SLI. For the life of me I don't know wtf is wrong with my setup. I know that a 5 GHz CPU will obviously increase my performance, but no way that this is a normal score for a 680 SLI setup!

I know that there are a number of similar problems from looking at a number of other forums where the 680 SLI scores are simply horrendous. Any suggestions?
