I don't feel Ahleckz beer is a valid entry, hence no points. Though as always we shall have a vote and the majority decision stands.

His email contained the message (as quoted above)

'It said rouge on the menu. Good enough for me!'

I've also include the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kriek_lambic

Though please feel free to make your own searches.

Ignore my rambling people, I'm just trying to up my post count for the free shipping.

Yes, for anyone that takes me seriously, I work there so don't need to get things shipped to me as I'm AT OcUK 5/6 days a week. It's a joke. Not a good one, but it's the best your getting. Harumph, I don't need to take this kind of criticism. Philistines.

For me, I'd class it as a fruit beer and yes Cherries are red but it just doesn't seem right.

I think it was more a case of being on holiday and trying to grab something at the last minute, that and I'm jealous! :p

I think that lambics are sour beers, sometimes fermented as normal, then Brettanomyces are added that ferment and sour more. As I've read, many of the lambic's that are exported are then sweetened to make them drinkable to a wider market.
