Hi all,

New phone time but can't decide between the above!

Half of me wants to go with Three for their internet speeds and free upgrade to 4g when it arrives, but I don't want another 24 month contract. The other half of me wants to go with this new refresh plan which means I could change my phone more often (which is good because I always love new phone technology).

Life is hard... :(

I would rather have a testicle removed than go back to o2 or giffgaff, three have been excellent for me in the area i live and internet speeds with dual channel H+ are lovely.

and I wouldn't go with Three ...thanks to their carp customers services and signal problems - and I live in London....

O2 has full bars, internet is decent and I have signal where other networks don't...

I live and work in hertfordshire, both seem good coverage.

I guess it's down to what I really want, speed or early upgrades...

I may be in the minority here but I've called three tech support for various reasons over the last couple of months. I've never had to wait more than 2 minutes and they've always resolved my problem quickly.

Maybe I'm just lucky.

Ring them and ask for you PAC code and see how long you're on the phone then ;)

Less than five minutes when I rang and requested my PAC.

Then when I called to arrange a refund of £17 I was dealt with swiftly by someone who knew what they were doing and that call was also over and done with within five minutes.

I cannot recommend O2 in my area after being with them years in London. Reception in the sticks is abysmal at best and data now capped. Three on the other hand are brilliant. So much in fact I do not have home broadband anymore. 1mb download in the middle of the countryside in Dorset. Brilliant service and cheaper too than the competition. Can also make calls with three anywhere I've been, O2 has made me want to throw my phone at times.

I've never got all this hate towards three's customer support. Over the years that I have had contracts with them (just come back after a few years away) they have been fine. And when I left and wanted my Pac code I just said that I already have my new phone so there's nothing they can do for me and I had my code within seconds.

Can I ask what is wrong with o2? Was thinking of getting a s4 on o2.

Try getting speed like this on o2 on H+ dual channel

I had a contract with Three when they first started, their customer service was diabolical.

Since then they seem to have got their act together and I find them a lot better.

Any issue I have had has been resolved quickly, apart from an address mix up last year, but that got sorted in the end.

Three's coverage where we are is fantastic, a lot better than Vodafone who I was with previously.

I found Three to be excellent in general, just lacked a little in signal coverage at times. Never was bad, but once or twice struggled a little out in the countryside.
That said, their data connection was awesome - I had a 12 month SIM only deal from them, which was a great deal at the time, but moved to Full Monty SIM only with another great deal at the turn of this year. I will almost certainly head back to Three towards the end of the year, especially with the imminent arrival of 4G :p

I was on a contract with three with an iPhone, internet was brilliant and fast, coverage was as good as any other network.

Moved to Voda with the One X 12m deal that was on here last year, coverage was great but the internet was slow, so slow it was pathetic, my 2 year old iPhone would load pages on a theoretically much slower device.

Back on three and data is bliss with the HTC One.

Went with 3 from t mobile and never looked back, T Mobile customer service wasn't great to say the least, have't had a problem with 3.
