Yeah its very slick. Every time I jailbreak it restores everything for me, including emails and settings. Very cool

And will all the apps im using on 1.1.2 work on 1.1.4? Is it at all buggy or should I just wait until sdk?

Depends what apps you are using really.
I haven't really found any apart from customize that don't work.

Give it some time, most apps will be updated for 1.1.4 if they haven't been already.

Ah right, I was skeptical to use the "restore" when going from a different firmware as the backup.

Hey guys,

I've just updated to 1.1.4 and jailbroken (was on 1.1.2 jailbroken) and all is well. However, I just installed bsd and mobileterminal and whenever I open terminal I can't login. I've tried alpine as a password but this isn't working. Can anyone help me out?

Regarding 1.1.4, what is the status of GPRS/EDGE working on 1.1.4. I'm currently on 1.1.2 due to the fact that I can go on the internet on the Pay and go web bolt on plan which just suits me great as I only use it occasionally when out. I've read on many forums of people having trouble with GPRS/EDGE from 1.1.3 onwards. I particulary want GPRS to work as my area does not have EDGE until I travel half a mile down the road :rolleyes:

SOme time in June they are bringing the official applications out and the official installed and the SDK is already out!!

woo - i went from jailbroken back to normal i mean i had loads of apps but it deleted my calculator!

Nope, everything working.

A lot better than 1.1.3 too, 1.1.3 was very buggy.

Just to echo this, I went from 1.1.2, restored to 1.1.4 then ran ziphone. Everything was great.

Probably a good idea to backup your contacts independently though, my contacts and pics failed to restore.
