Someone on another thread mentioned the EDID table for the monitors. Maybe it is something to do with the way that is interpreted by the card and drivers. I wonder if that's a problem for the card or monitor manufacturers?

I'm hoping to have chance to test the VX2025WM myself in a couple of weeks so i'll see what results i get as well. It's a strange situation

I'm beginning to think it's possible through software on nearly all monitors, perhaps even on all of them when done correctly. Might need other software besides the NVidia drivers like perhaps Rivatuner but interesting to see anyway.
