Hello everybody, should I be worried after HD tune showed this warning ?
If you copy the data off to another disk and under tge erase tab in hdtune run secure erase and zero all sectors you might just find it clears the issue. Has worked for me plenty of times historically.
Download 'Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows' from Western Digital's website and run a full diagnostic with that.
Looking at raw SMART data only leads to confusion.
Thanks for the advice this what It showed after running the EXTENDED TEST :
when i clicked on repair It showed "cannot repair bad sectors"
If it was mine I'd replace it. It's a good excuse to buy a SSD.
Its a really good excuse, who doesn't want an SSD
Thanks for the help
