10 big macs

Considering I can eat two and still feel empty I reckon 10 is easy. Might reduce my life expectancy by 25% though

I doubt 10 would be that hard to most people. (on a proper empty stomach you an hear rumbling)

I think the problem would be the amount of liquids you would need for all the bun and then it would swell up in your stomach and make you feel fuller I guess?

Maybe the key would be to eat them slowly so you don't get the dry mouth

eating? he seems to be squashing them into balls of crap and drowning them with water.

Which is why he can eat so much. Try it it works, I managed to eat roughly twice the amount I normally do by using that technique.

I don't do it hardly ever but a handy trick when you go out for a work's do and you get the typical "I'll eat anything and order the hottest curry" type idiot is in your congregation.

I can't imagine how utterly broken my life would have to become where not only contemplating but then actually eating eat ten Big Macs would seem like a good life choice.

Wouldn't want to eat 1 TH, disgusting things.

Now a 5 guys burger marathon I would attempt.

I just got back from Florida and tried Five Guys for the first time, being a big burger fan I was impressed!, I had their "little hamburger" which is a normal sized burger with loads of toppings, nothing little about it and it was only like $4.

Ive heard theres one in london but being london, id rather not go anywhere near it, its probably double the price as well.

They also had this awesome bit of kit which I didnt even know existed, Lime Coke is tasty.

I don't eat burgers but I can make an excuse for bigmacs since theres barely any meat in them...

It would be very hard for most people. The problem is most people thinking quashing hunger is linear when it's not. Just because you can 'easily' eat 2 and still have room for more doesn't mean you can eat 10 or even 5, each one is harder than the last and the rate at which you can consume them slows down with each one.

I'd bet a pound to a penny that anyone who doesn't have experience of competitive eating would struggle with 10 Big Macs no matter how much they claim they can easily eat 2 or 3.

There are plenty of videos on Youtube of this type of guy, the types that says because they can eat 3 or 4 cheeseburgers and still be hungry they can eat 10 but when tested they soon fail.

Well that's your opinion. I think he's epic, a great entertainer who I love watching on TV.

Him being a great entertainer and him being a great competitive eater are two different things. When I said he was 'lame' I didn't mean as a person or TV Presenter, I meant as someone who claims to be able to take on food challenges and beat them.

It just annoys me when people use him as an example of a pinnacle of competitive eaters when he really isn't. Go take a look at the likes of Furious Pete, Joey Chestnut or Takeru Kobayashi who would **** all over Adam Richman (who by the way is described as an 'actor' on Wikipedia).

Furious Pete isn't the best of the best but he can present as well as eat and he aint an out of work actor like Richman. Go to Youtube and watch his 'world tours' if you like MVF. You won't regret it.

Here he is on ITV...

Does Adam Richman even claim to be a pro competitive eater like you're saying?

Where did I make such a claim? All I said is it annoys me when people think he is anywhere near the top eaters just because he has a TV show.

It's people's opinion of him that I'm bothered about, not him or any claims he has personally made.

You said that he was a competitive eater, no one else did. You're comparing him (who in essence entertains and then does a challenge), to some folk who live and breath such pro challenges.

No I didn't. I said I don't know why OTHER PEOPLE rate him as a [great] competitive eater.

You're comparing him (who in essence entertains and then does a challenge), to some folk who live and breath such pro challenges.

And? It was in response to the claim that he could complete the 10 Big Mac challenge which heavily implies he is at the pinnacle of his game.

sad but I just had a bit read up on the pro eating records and for me it is notable that about 5lbs of food is still a lot even for the real pros , ok they eat the stuff super fast in like 10 mins or less but I suspect that sort of time limit is there because your risking immediate damage by eating much more in a sitting.

I am certain it can of course be done but I think by a lot fewer people than some think.

Of course there does appear to be the occasional freak who can eat 10 lbs of food without using there hands , ffs

I love Big Mac's, but Ive cut down a lot on **** fast food, trying to keep it to emergency only, ie. night out drinking/smoking and its the only available place to buy food.

Could probably easily eat at least 2-3 as they seem to have got smaller over the years, anything more and I think I would feel sick. Recently Ive started to feel sick after even just a cheeseburger so have tried to avoid processed food, but it's hard in this ****** up country where bad food is cheaper than good food, and there's not a lot of good food around.

Not sure about that, Furious Pete eats an 8lb burger here in under 12 minutes...

There another where he eats a burger that is 12 lbs but the video quality isn't great
