10 big macs

I just saw one of some petite lass eating 8 lbs of oysters in the same sort of time , Jesus but I thought I could eat.

When they were on offer for £1 (mid 90s), I bought 10. I could only eat 8, but I think I could mange 10 on a better day.

Hardly the end of the world.

So you go ahead and state everything but sodium which was the point I was making, iirc one burger has about 80-90% of the daily amount of sodium you should take in.

A big mac is about half a pound so 10 is 5lbs seriously very very few people can eat 5lbs of food in a normal sitting.

For example the man vs food challenges about the most he can ever eat is somewhere between 4-5 lbs.

You're a long way out. A big Mac uses to 1/10lb pieces of meat so a big Mac is 1/5lb in meat quantity. 10 of them is 2lb of meat plus the extras, which is 14 grams of onion, 28 grams on lettuce, 15ml of sauce and a slice of cheese Iirc.

I think the problem would be the amount of liquids you would need for all the bun and then it would swell up in your stomach and make you feel fuller I guess?

The problem is the salt iirc. It just gets too much, and every mouthful is like drinking sea water.

I just got back from Florida and tried Five Guys for the first time, being a big burger fan I was impressed!, I had their "little hamburger" which is a normal sized burger with loads of toppings, nothing little about it and it was only like $4.

Ive heard theres one in london but being london, id rather not go anywhere near it, its probably double the price as well.

They also had this awesome bit of kit which I didnt even know existed, Lime Coke is tasty.

There are two branches in London and Reading now. The owner of carphone warehouse loved them so much he kicked off a joint venture to bring the brand to the UK. All the rubbish here like GBK, Byron et al really does pail in comparison.

Frozennova since when do you not count the bread as part of a Big Mac !

They weigh 7.6 oz. each i.e. nearly half a pound. So 10 of them weigh nearly 5lbs certainly nearer 5 than 4.

That Man V Food pic of the pancakes...man that challenge is quite crazy to me. I was in Hawaii a couple weeks back and that retaurant (Mac 24/7) was just up the road so we went and tried it.

2 of us together failed it. Mind you, I don't particularly like pancakes that much which doesn't help. My partner loves blueberry pancakes but even she was bored as hell after a while of the same taste every bite.
So didn't get the free meal...although it was our honeymoon so we got free cocktails! lol

The quantity of the food makes little difference to how much I can eat. It's more about the taste and variation.
I could only manage 1lb of Mcdonalds. But I could eat 3-4lb of some of my favorite dishes.

i think i could eat 10.

i dont know how long it would take me though, i guess around 15 mins.

there is a vid on youtube of a guy by the name of megatoadstonie (competitive eater) eating 5/6 (cant remember exactly) in 60 seconds.

edit: was 5 and here is the vid.
