10 police officers shot by snipers at BLM protest in Dallas

That's not justification.
I like sticking my willy in pretty women. Doesn't mean I can bang every pretty woman I meet. Well...five minutes alone with my charming self and I can but that's a different story...

I agree completely.

I was merely pointing out the ridiculousness of it. Whatever reason people give as justification for owning a gun, it boils down to 'I like guns'.

Amazing stuff. In a protest against officers shooting black people a bunch of black people shoot police officers going some way to validate why the police are so worried when approaching blacks in the first place!

They shoot unarmed white too, like last week they killed an unarmed white kid with no history of criminal acts.

Have a look at: New Century Report: Color of Crime
Snippets:
- Blacks account for most per portion of all crime at just under 50%
- Of victims of black crime: 45% are white, 43% are black and 10% are Hispanic (vs 3% of white on black crime)
- of all inter racial crimes blacks account for 85% against whites
- 10% of gang members are white

I really don't know how you are unable to find these stats.

FBI: Official report 2012 (by black people)
- 49.4% of murders
- 32.5% rape (way higher than average)
- 54.9% of robberies
- 34.1% aggravated assault

There is a heap of similar reports. Gang crime reports should fascinate you: Overwhelmingly black committing murders/violence/robbery etc. But of course this is nothing to do with subculture at all.. Nothing

Stop posting facts as you know the lefties hate it :D

What do you propose to do about this violent subculture?

Statistics show that despite blacks making up less than half the amount of total arrests they somehow manage to account for more than half of all homicides in the US.

Of course that has nothing to do with the fact it's cool to be 'gangster' and prance about with guns and hate on the POPO. Definitely not a culture thing.

Of all the videos I've seen, the person who has end up killed hasn't done what the copper has told them to do. Does that mean they should have been killed? No - but if you're resisting arrest and the copper has a gun, there is a fair chance things aren't going to end well.

Get down on the floor slowly with your hands up. Put your hands behind your back / head. Let them cuff you. Live.

Also hate the fact that every black person gunned down is some kind of angel in the community. Last guy killed had a criminal record as long as your arm and history of child abuse.

Black lives matter... but no more or less than white lives. Lets see if Beyonce and co come out and support these killed cops.

So many different reasons for this melting pot.
Poor communities more likely to be involved in low level crime leads to more contact with police.
More contact with police leads to mutual distrust between two groups despite majority on both sides being decent honest folk.
Mutual distrust leads to outright hatred for some on both sides.
Insane gun ownership levels and laws (or lack of) leads to more guns being used in crimes.
More guns being used leads to very jittery, potentially trigger happy police. Civilian won't want to be shot for having a broken tail light, likewise police wont want to die for pulling someone over with a broken tail light.

Guns + crime + hatred = a blooming mess.

It all boils down to two things, economics and guns. We have the same issues here in the UK but you take guns out of the equation and while it's far from perfect these sort of things are far less prevalent.

But nothing will change...

What do you propose to do about this violent subculture?

Recognize that the subculture is fed through inequality. Agree that there is a problem with a particular zeal of subculture (big part of race related crime imo is caused by not acknowledging that there is a problem which perpetuates it).

Ultimately will this brand of person (including white and Hispanic) want to change? If the answer is no then what chance of change is there?

Education would be another big piece(s) in the puzzle but getting them to engage is another problem best left to experts.

Absolutely. And behind all of this as well as institutional racism, is incredible inequality.

Indeed - I have friends and family who live in the States (some of whom are not white) and there is an undercurrent of "something isn't quite right". It's tragic that in the 21st Century we still have to deal with this sort of thing. It's rather more rife in the States than I had ever realised.

It can be viewed on the flip side too. Feel sorry for black people, they can't even show a policeman their driving licence without worrying a maniac can draw a gun on them at any given time.
Another consequence of institutionalised racism and deep rooted (albeit ridiculous) fear of the black man.

Unfortunately it runs deep and opinions, behaviours are unlikely to change any time soon :(

You're blaming a symptom for the the cause of the issue.

At least I can recognize the facts. I am highlighting facts. I agree inequality is the almost total cause in all of it. But you tell me how we will get a person like that to change.

Problem acknowledged. Education is free in the US so again I ask, what exactly do you propose to fix this?

Doesn't matter nothing if these kids don't engage and are sucked in by the glorification of guns, drugs, gangs and violence.

Not worth giving me the inquisition how I would resolve it. I'm just really saying that resolving problems start with recognizing you in fact have one.

Why are you asking us how we fix it?

Why is there no personal responsibility for the people committing crimes to look at their own behaviour? Plenty of people are poor and don't turn to a life of crime. America has endless opportunities for people willing to work hard and better themselves.

So basically you have no solution no suggestions. You just point your finger at a group of people who share a skin colour and let the experts 'handle' it. When the terrorist is Muslim, you point your finger at Muslims.

That's a nice and simple world you live in.
