£1000 build

I think it's the only one that supports both DDR2 and DDR3, but fortunately it's a great P35 board. I'm planning building a system around that soon :)

Yes, it also supports quad core.

Yeah, stick with XP for the time being.

That is what i intend to do until the first SP is released and drivers become more freely available.

If it came to it you could always dual boot with Vista, but is up to you.

Good luck with the new build.

the tuniq tower is now available again(and also one with a nice blue LED!),would anyone suggest this instead of the noctua,or is there not much difference?

Other than this i think im pretty much done, unless anyone has any other suggestions?

Slight change of plan,i now plan to buy a 22" monitor at some point over summer, probably with a 1680x1050 Resolution, will a GTX make a difference at this resolution?

I plan to use my 32" toshiba as a secondary display, but the new monitor for gaming etc as it has a higer res. on a smaller screen.

Anyone have any suggestions for which monitor to buy,or does anyone have any reasons why this would not be worth it and is in fact a stupid idea?
