£100k Garage: Is one car better than many?

£6K - VW Polo 9N GT PD130
[Azurblau Metallic, revo map to 170, BBS reps, coilovers + ARB & links, colour matched exterior trim, smoked headlights, DRL's, 9N3 tail lights, 9N3 tailgate, debadge, white/black Polo Dune door cards & seats]

Really? In your £100k garage? With Reps? Now, a mk1 / mk2 GTI with PD130 conversion and REAL BBS RS' would be more of a shout.

£5K - VW Golf 2.8 V6 4Motion
[Black, BBS reps, coilovers + ARB & links, Milltek non resi]

Again, REALLY? In your £100k garage? R32's are cheap enough, again, ditch the reps and get BBS LM's for this one.

The rest is a fair shout...

£9K - BMW E21 323i
[Burnt orange metallic, Braid Forged GT Lip rims, coilovers, smoothed front bumper]

£12K - BMW E92 335i M-Sport
£23K - '57 Chevrolet Bel Air 2dr HT
£45K - BMW E9 3.0CS

Would like an E30 325i, Bora GLI, R8 4.2 etc. as well, but sacrifices must be made.
Might get the E92 in cabrio form and make cuts elsewhere. *shrug*
:)

I have a bit of a German car obsession, I'm sorry...

Stop making me dream. :(

There wasn't really enough room in the budget for real BBS', do you have any idea how much they cost? Also I wouldn't put RS' on the Polo , they aren't really my thing, and I'd probably put CH's on the Golf.

People always seem so surprised when I point out that I really like Polo 9N's, they are my all time favorite small car in terms of appearance. I also wasn't going to go into engine swaps etc because it would be too much faff to figure out how much each "built" car would cost. :p That Polo would probably be my most loved car of the lot. :p

Yes to the 4Motion as well, the R32 is faster and has a better 4WD system, but I'm not a fan of the looks, and one of the nice things about the 4Motion for me is that it looks like a regular Golf if you take the badges off. I wouldn't have it for thrashing about in, I'd have it for gentle drives with spirited moments in which I can enjoy the noise. :)

I would wan a runaround as well as a dream car. Wouldn't fancy going supermarket shopping in anything too flash

oh.... how much could I grab one of those Knight XV's for second hand ya think ? :p or a marauder xD

why? just for the shear size of the damn things!!!!

An AMG C63 as an everyday at about £35k

A Morgan Aero 8 for summer fun at around £42k

And a Range Rover for the two days a year it snows £20k-ish..

I like the idea of having lots of cars in my 100k garage, sure they aren't all super cars but each has their own driving characteristics & features that appeals to me.

1998 Supra RZ-S 6spd - Single HKS T51 Turbo + complimentary mods ~ 700 whp

The primary weekend toy. Whilst there is better performing turbo technology out these days, I really love the old school feel & sound of having a T51. Lag...lag...Woooooo! lots of fun for the straights. Horsepower somewhere in the range of 700 will be more than plenty as well without having issues running as a street/track intended car.

Exterior:
Paint - Anthracite or Black paint would be lovely
Spoiler - TRD
Wheels - 18" Fikse ARO's

Drop the suspension a little for a more aggressive stance and that's my ideal Supra, very much a fan of the stock look.

£30'000

1998 Supra SZ-R - Stock

To stick with the Supra theme but want something a little more tame. Aerotop for enjoying summer cruises with N/A performance to actually be able to put my foot down when it's raining. Auto gearbox to make using this as a daily more pleasant.

£6'000

Rover Mini Cooper 1.3

Loads of fun on smaller country roads and a classic in my opinion. Has such personality, unlike it's modern counterparts. Be a good first car for the wife/kids to learn in eventually as well

£4'000

Mazda RX-7 - UK Spec FD3S

Love the sound & concept of a rotary engine. Would like to use this as a track car to see if it's handling lives up to the hype. Probably keep mods to a minimum, however a more open exhaust system will be #1 on the shopping list.

£10'000

AE86 Corolla GT - Stock

Would love a nice condition one of these, not so much for the driving, but more of a collectors piece. Guess this would count as my classic car entry

£20'000

Nissan GTR R34 - Bayside Blue - Stock

To complete my trio of 90's JDM legends, got to have one of these. 4wd is also a nice bonus with this.

£30'000

Probably need another 100k just to run all of this properly, so better start saving.
