I've upgraded from 1070 to 3060 Ti. It is a significant upgrade, especially regarding to DLSS 2.0 and Ray Tracing features.

For Destiny, in my opinion, it is not worth it at scalper prices. For future games and at MSRP - absolutely worth it.

Worth bearing in mind that the price a used 1070 sells for is currently £150-£200 more than it should be. So if you can find stock, it's not really you that's bearing the higher cost. And if you can nab an FE, you're quids in.

Also, a 3070 can make about a fiver profit per day on Nicehash at the moment. So there's potential to make a few quid back there. If BTC prices hold, that's £150/month (less about 20p per hour spent gaming).

Somewhere in the middle.
I was playing Destiny 2 on xbox series x yesterday. 4k 60fps and it looked fantastic on my HDR tv. For 450 quid it's a great alternative to graphics card hunting.

Ive got a gtx1080 pc and ive been impressed.

I can`t get on with consoles unfortunately,i find the controllers difficult to aim with (yes i know you can get kb/m adapters but are quite pricey? )

There are a few games on Xbox with native keyboard and mouse support. It's not a huge list, but it's something.

Indeed saw an Msi Gaming X 1070 go for £310 on the bay yesterday. I would have thought a 3070 the better upgrade tbh. Gibbo mentioned 'a few' may pop up now backlog sorted. Need to be super quick though.

My 1070 laptop still plays any game at high / medium settings and the games look just as good if not better than playing them on 2k TVs.

There is not much difference at ultra settings compared to high with one or two medium settings toggled.
