The track will never work, ive tried building massive tracks before and its more trouble than its worth.

See more reasons why flexitrack sucks. Wood for the win.

Though I will admit the new Ninco and Scalextric Sport track is much better then the old Scalextric stuff. SCX track aint half bad either, but nothing compares to a wooden track.

Make the track too long and its gonna be subject to voltage drop also.. lol its gonna have to be pretty long tho

All mine (ive absolutely loads, hence knowing that its a complete and utter PITA trying to get a big track working reliably) is the black plastic stuff

Wouldnt the electric current get weak near the end of the track due to needing to be spread out so far :confused:

He means a routed, wooden, homemade track - they pwn.

Scalex sport track is pretty pro, I'd say...And MASSIVE tracks are doable...You just need a multimeter, a lot of wire and a lot of time.

They will probably put multiple connections in, say one at the beginnig and one in the middle (although there may be a lot more).

It's what proper club/national level racers use.

Copper tape on a routed out wooden track, means the magnets don't work so it's purely down to your tyres. Means the cars don't snap like they do on flexitrack (plastic stuff) which makes racing much closer.

See I goto a Slot Car club (yes it's not called Scalextric! ) which is a 6 lane track also.
