Soundhound at 10p is great

I use it so much.....usually when I get a tune stuck in my head I just hum it and sound hound gets it for me

Hmmm, is there any way of buying apps to store online for when you do get a phone?

My missus will be buying an Android phone but not until the new year, she'd really like some of the apps but the market is saying there isn't a phone associated with her Google account.

Sign in on a friends phone.

No other way afaik, unless you can download the SDK and access it that way?

You need to sync a phone up first with the online version of the market to check for compatibility as far as I know. If you have an Android handset it does this for you in the background. Quickest method would be borrowing a friends handset or the like.

Ah right...so if I added my missus gmail account to my HTC Hero, she would be able to access the market from there and the Market would think she had a Hero?

Yes, as long as the market deems the apps compatible, you'd be able to purchase them.

Hmmm, I appreciate the help but it doesn't seem to be working...

I've added her account to my phone, and it's asked about syncing contacts so I know she's on there...

When I go to the market using Firefox signed into her account it still says there's no phone associated with the account.

When I use the phone to access the market it doesn't give me the option to sign out of my main account and sign into hers...

Bit stuck!
