Not had any problems with these yet, at least I can install the hardware acceleration schtoof without the 99% usage bug... So all good

i still maintain the best driver set were the 104a's

11.4 drivers (complete overwrite of packages)

10.4a drivers (only thing overwriten is the driver package)

These are the exact problems with Video tab in CCC. And I'm sure they overwrite any settings in the player itself.

Could you start a new thread with comparison of the two drivers? I think we could see how much gain/loss the drivers have brought over the past year.

It would be useful if you could provide some other benchmarks, preferably in-game ones and 3dmarks.

Simple as uninstall Application Profiles, make sure the ATI Technologies folder is empty and install new Application Profiles. No need for a reboot either.

Of course it's possible

Not on my system, I haven't had a reboot popup from a video driver update in years.

There's a reboot prompt when you uninstall the drivers.

Installing over the top doesn't require a reboot.

fixed uneven crossfire usage at arma 2 it was something like 50% gpu 1 80% gpu 2 now its even. better fps on arma 2 as well.

The GPU no longer shows high GPU usage after running Firefox 4 with hardware acceleration enabled.

Is this what people were reporting for the GPU bug? I don't even have Firefox 4 installed yet and I can trigger this bug in Crysis changing the graphics options. Sometimes Radeon Pro activates the bug when you're changing profile settings.

I know my cpu isnt the fastest but runs anygame i throw at it,fps dropped to near unplayible levels with same ccc panel settings with that 11.4 on shift 2.

tbh your cpu will at current bottleneck that card hard.

Some were, although there were people not using FIrefox that suffered from it.

Since the 29th March 11.4 preview driver, it appears to be fixed.

I take it you're still suffering from it ?

i read its not a good oc due to the low multiplier is that correct or are there other factors involved

The Q8200 is difficult o/c has it only has a multiplier of 7 to overclock.
Mine required cpu voltage raised to 1.350V just to get 3ghz, tried for 3.3ghz it crashed,so I took the easy route & just upped the fsb to 400, for a basic o/c.
