When i rang 118118 it was an english guy and Iasked him whether he has a mustache and long hair and skinny, when he started to talk about it I told him to stfu and just give me the number lol im mean

I've used 118 too, can't understand them at all, asked to speak to someone English and I got a some guy from Newcastle and I just gave up entirely then.

118 118 are a joke.

Iasked for the number of my local Woolworths. I had to spell it out a few times before she got it. As she was obviously working from India she just didn't know what Woolworths was.

Not rascist, just shows the inherent problem with using Indian call centres basically.

I've had mixed results from the "foreign" based helpline workers. Some spoke English so badly that the conversation was completely pointless, yet i've had some that spoke it nigh on perfectly and were extremely pleasant to deal with.

118 500 is the old 192 (ie BT's directory inqueries)

I really wouldnt be suprised if all the people at the other end of the phone do is type the place your looking for in yell.com :rolleyes:

Whenever I have used 118118, they have been really helpfull and fast. Ive never had a foreign sounding operator, and they have always got the number I wanted, straight away. Guess I must just be lucky.
