Utilizing a dangerous and untested method of time travel, James Cole journeys from 2043 to the present day on a mission to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will all but annihilate the human race.

Cole is a convicted criminal in a post-apocalyptic future where the Earth's population is forced to live underground after a deadly virus. In a bid to earn a pardon, Cole uses the imperfect science of time travel to help collect information on the virus released by the Army of the Twelve Monkeys.

Isn't this the show that also takes control of the lighting in your room if you have certain smart bulbs?

Sounds good, they got the tech guy from nikitta in it considering its on scifi channel though not sure they seem to have down graded and down budgeted pretty much every show to save cost and minus scifi.

The first 2 episodes aired last night and it was surprisingly good. Seems like they are changing quite a lot compared to the movie but i suppose they have to.

Just for a split second right at the start when the lead actress was doing her lecture I thought she was Felicity Smoak from Arrow

Seen the first 2 episodes and not that impressed. I'll keep watching for now as I stopped watching Arrow after 2 or 3 episodes but tried again a year later and it got better.

Yeah, same universe, similar concepts but a completely different plot. I think it's probably safe to assume the die hard stuff never happened.

Seems like it should be a good show, also I like the blonde, she's on Suits too!

I've watched the first episode and it felt a lot like The Terminator without the robot. Goes back in time to kill the person responsible. Killing them doesn't stop the future...

I am liking this, always like a bit of time travel
