looking to buy just a 120 ssd untill i come across theese http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-111-OC&groupid=1657&catid=2101&subcat=2106 me problem is not to sure which way to go a single 120 drive or 2 60 ssds running raid i own asus evo pro motherbord im sure it do sata 3 in raid 0,but dont trim surport only work in ACHI mode? i could be wrong not sure.I dont think ya can set up a raid array in achi.So me question is 1 single drive useing trim surport which is a lot faster then got now or 2 ssds in raid? my understanding of trim surport is that it just cleans the crap off ya hdd and it impoves ya ssd life cycle and stops ya ssd slowing down could be wrong again lol thanks for any help

Unless your a benchmark junkie I'd go for a single 120GB drive. The difference in performance will be negligible and not noticeable in day-to-day tasks. As you said, trim is not supported with RAID.
not a benchmark junkie in anyway thanks for reply,another question is how long do it take anyway for a ssd to degrade without trim surport cuz i swap my pc about every 6 month anyway get bord of it and start all over,would i notice the difference in this time? cuz i will just sell my old pc on,and start a new build,if not i might aswell go with the raid option?
