Hi All,

I had a previous thread with a request for specs for two builds but due to changes the £850 build has been put on hold.

Thanks very much for Stulid, Idleman, honosuseri for your help.

I will be putting through my order Thursday/Friday.

My previous thread included a mouse and keyboard for the £1200 budget but i now want to exclude these from my budget.

So I need:.

Type: Build is for gaming/Photoshop
Monitors x 2: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-041-AS
Graphics: Nvidia 670
CPU: Intel i5 3750k
Mobo: Supports SLI (Might add additional 670 in 12 months)
HDD: 1TB
SSD: <256GB
DVD/CD: Best cheapest
PSU: Decent
RAM: Enough for multiple applications/ gaming
Windows: Need

I'm open for suggestions with regards to monitor size. I will be plugging PS3 in to one so would prefer one with audio jack port.

I have no other parts available to re-use.

Thanks all.

The offers change tomorrow, so any specs now will be out dated by then.

Did you need a case also?

Hi all,

Back today as per Stulid's post.

Would I be more future proof with a 670 or 7950?

I want to be hitting above 50fps and have smooth game play for next 2 years or so. What are your thoughts?

Thanks

The offers haven't changed yet (but the date for the weekly offers has) so cant be long now.

Excellent. Thanks, do you think the monitors picked would be suitable in terms of size/quality for gaming/ photoshop?

Also next years games should be playable above 40fps at least?

The monitors are a normal resolution (1080) and a very usable size.

Games will be fine also, besides..it's easy to overclcok the CPU and the GFX card a little further too.

I use a GTX670 and it maxes all games out and is silky smooth.

Ok thanks, looking good.

Not sure whether to SLI next year - would it be worth it? or would just having an SSD for now and doing a mobo/ single gpu upgrade next year?

Thanks Stulid.

Just noticed your post as to whether I needed a case, thanks for assuming that I did, as I do.

Should be placing order tomorrow. Hopefully can get it for delivery Saturday.

Thanks for your help.
