£1300 gaming build...!?

I have to agree with the P280, just got it through the post and for £65 it's better than a bargain, this case is astounding and easily worth over £100. Just purchase the case now while it's at this price and pick up the other stuff later.

Best setup now.As always stulid delivers

I'm still half convinced by the 680 over a 7970/7950...? With the new drivers and games package won't that make them a better buy... Pound per performance..?

Is the 120hz monitor really worth the extra over the IPS?

I wasn't convinced myself, so I tracked one down to have a go, and the difference is significant. Even whilst just on windows everything looks so much smother, and gaming is exceptional.
The only problem I see is that it encourages you to spend more on your graphics as you want to keep the framerates high to get the full advantage.

Yeah, that's why i specced in a 120hz monitor, much nicer. 1080p isn't going to be going out of fashion either anytime soon.

Here's a build with a good 120hz monitor, its actually out of stock, but i'm sure it will be back soon. I've managed to keep the 680. The trade off is you've lost the abillty to run two cards, and i've dropped your SSD back to 128gb.

If you don't want to make that sacrifice, then you could drop to a 7950, and get your SSD and ability to crossfire back.

I'm not 100% on that cooler, but most of the standard options are out of stock.

Just throwing some options out there.

Think i might drop the 120hz monitor and buy something normal as i'm considering a 1440p at somepoint in the future..

Oh and i'm really stumped on 7970 VS 680!

The POV GTX680 is only £359 today only, so if you dont order quickly, then £379 is the next cheapest.

At £379 it starts to look like bad value compared to a 7970.

Is it worth paying extra for different editions (7970) as the chips are the same? Surely its worth just buying a cheaper card (with the aftermarket cooler) and over clocking it yourself?
