£15 off and free delivery at very.co.uk with the following codes...

After thinking about it and the reports of them taking the money back...ive cancelled my order...not really worth taking the risk in all honesty.

It's a publicly available code, there's nothing that can go wrong if you are a first time customer.

Thank you OP! :)

Publicly available only because someone leaked it, or the code is visible on the site? There's a difference.

Oh, now i hope that this is entirely untrue, the wife and i have spent a fortune with very this weekend, using and abusing the system!

Thats the way i understood it, first timers should be ok on account of it being a publicly available set of codes.

You fail to make sense.

So you abuse the system buy doing multiple orders, using the same codes.

Then admit it's for first time customers.

As stated above, expect them to charge you at this time the discounted amount, and then at a later date take the rest of the payments.

If its such an issue then heres the thing.....ring them up and ask to cancel the order:confused:

I dont agree with them taking the full amount then refunding u later etc but if you dont like the way they conduct business then dont order or just cancel if you have.

Yeah I agree, its just these extra little hassels that build up and annoy me in life. For the record it says on there website they will arrange a pickup for you if you want to return (thats free).

Lol, i know what you mean.

Yes we have abused it, but we bought sale items anyways so if they do come back for the money then its not too bad.

When the code was given to me i was told that it was for your first order, so like many other people who have more than one debit/credit card and email address we made a number of purchases to save us the most money.

It was not until after someone pointed out on here what the deal was that i went back and read the T&C's and amended my post accordingly.

After doing some research it seems this code was offered in a free london newspaper last week so its hardly britains best kept secret is it.

To be fair i only posted it in here because of the xbox live points potential saving, anyone searching around the money saving websites could have gotten hold of the same information.

I've just ordered a £20 PSN Voucher.

E-mail states £5 total cost but checking my account on Very shows I've "paid" £20.

Will await my refund :p

/Edit

Surely they don't have permisison to take more funds from your bank account than you've authorised?

Codes are never normally visible on the site. It will have been sent around in junk mail or a mailshot to try and..... attract new customers.

Just got an email saying my order is out of stock until 5 weeks time; didn't mention that on the website. They have taken the money though. I've cancelled!

Have you got a link to this? Is it a genuine offer to any first time customer and available to anyone? I am sure I can find something to buy but don't want to have the money taken back in a couple of months time.

thanks

I was just looking through their sale list and couldnt help but notice a logitech g15 keyboard for £74, needless to say i roflmao around my workspace. (backstory i bought my rev 1 g15 for £30 on release)
