I'd go low mileage S2000. Lower end of you're budget, and it looks like the values are appreciating slightly. It'll work when you want to drive it, and the engines a cracker. Not the last word in fun handling though.
I agree, an Elise or something more exotic would feel proper special.Seriously good car, but when the competition is more exotic and driver focused I think it loses out somewhat. As a weekend only car I’d have an Elise.
Yep. Unfortunately my mums old house has only just gone on the market and some of that will be funding the car. So it will take a while to sell. Would love one right now but need to wait unfortunately.Cheaper to get one in winter
Don't buy an s2000 in that price bracket. The ship has already sailed on them and there's far quicker and better handling things for the money.
That particular one has been for sale for like a year if not longer. It's a shedBlimey is that what a GTT goes for now?
There is more to owning a car to simply what is quicker and better. Having a convertible with an 9k RPM redline has its USP.
At time of posting, I checked and pre haggle there were 4 phase 1's on autotrader £20k or below iirc. Phase 2 I think you're high 20's / early 30s as a starting point mind.Good luck finding one of those in budget - aren't most people asking over 30k for them now?!
Things are getting expensive... you should see how much the Noble M12 costs these days, too!
