1600W Titanium, Platinum & Gold Super Flower power supplies now available!

monster power
bit supprised that their isn't white versions on sale
might be tempted with a white version
although the 1200 would probably more than i'd use any way
can't hurt to have a little extra juice for future use

Actually it got certified on the 17/06/14 so SF-750F14MT shouldn't be far behind alongside a nice 850. Would be nice to see the pricing on those altlhouh I can't imagine replacing my AX760 and with 7yr warranty the price is not too bad I think.

Actually it's a bit worrying the partcode of the 1600W PSU stocked by OCuK is SF-1600F14HT but the one that got certified is SF-1600F14MT... We really need a better testing org!
Yep, I've had a product request in since May and then noticed they had been certified in july. Was told they were due from september onwards, then at christmas told early Q1 was likely. I emailed superflower last week aswell but didn't get a reply.

Didn't notice the difference in the model number, that is worrying, hopefully it's just a typo because surely they can't label a product 80Plus if it's not been certified.

I hope the 750W Titanium slots in around £120-130.

Quick update on this, the rest of the Titanium range is in the final stages of testing. They should be ready for dispatch from the factory in March, so we should see them end of March/Early April.

Might be a silly question but will there ever be 1200w Titanium PSU's or would that kind of be pointless and only really make sense for PSU's in the 1600w range ?

Just got myself a Superflower 1200w Platinum, Can't see me ever needing more than that TBH :)

lol "satanic workstation" :D

Folding rigs, high end benching rigs, or even standard subzero benching rigs. Then there are the guys who want the PSU fan to be silent or have the PSU most efficient.

There's an entire 80+ Titanium range from Superflower in the final stAges of testing! we should see them at the end of March/early April, various wattages starting with 750W.

We would never recommend these for any single card, these are PSU's for extreme overclockers or those building an absolute beast of a PC with several GPU's.

We recommend quality PSU's to help try and reduce whine, its being proven to help in such cases and such power supplies start from £49.99, no one here is recommending anyone to spend hundreds, might want to get your facts right. :)

Got to love the "try help try and reduce whine", still I have not seen proof of the PSU being a fix, but yes, "it may help" just like having a bag of crisps may help "reduce you noticing any noise".

Marketing vs fact. "proven to help" needs some back up rather than just the opinion of a retailer.

Indeed you have recommended some cheaper solutions, but that still means you sell something to make something else you sell or sold work as intended.

Now have I got my facts right yet?

No your quite wrong.

A few members have posted in various threads on this forum that changing from a poor quality PSU has infact reduced or cured whine issues for them, when the only change was the PSU. :)

Thanks, that was a civil reply, so I will shut up, now just get the EVGA 970FTW+ on offer(when in stock) and I will see how my PSU copes:)

The real question is, Is there actually any point in 750w-1200w Titanium ? I can understand the higher 1600w having Titanium but 750w-1200w Titanium seems a little bit of a waste to be honest.

I don't always agree with the maxim "buy cheap, buy twice" but for some things it is true.

I look at a good PSU as something that will last through a number of rigs where most components will get upgraded each time, I like to have good quality core components that will transfer over. So if getting a good quality/high spec PSU means it lasting through say 3 upgrades then the higher cost is mitigated by this but even given that £300 is a lot unless you need that high capacity.

People probably thought the same about 80 Plus Platinum PSU's under 1000W but there's definitely a market for them. I would expect the Superflowers to be very competitively priced too :)
