If it’s using 13gb it’s fine. A lot of that due to the nature of cod games. There have been quite a few cod games in the past that have cached nearly all memory when it didn’t need it. I bet if you took some out and ran the same game it wouldn’t go over.
If it was using 15.9gb it’s still fine. It’s only when it goes over that it causes issues. Same with vram. I had 980 SLI back in the day that literally ran 4050mb out of 4096mb at 4k 60hz and it ran fine.
even though I have 32gb which is primarily for some game servers, apps and editing. For gaming can’t say I’ve ever seen it over that amount.
More is better but chances are when that 16gb+ is actually required for gaming we will have say ddr5 or 6 so if it’s for gaming I wouldn’t bother until you actually need to add more.
