The law states it is but for me its very very borderline and if I was a racist, I sure hell could pick a better word than popadom.

If someone called me a cracker, i wouldn't care but if it was something like "you white ....... then thats another story.

so she was being racist then thats all i needed to know, obviously she wasnt going to make it a full blown racist attack because she probably would have been sent death threats etc, but she acted racistly towards the other person which is wrong, racism is racism and it should not be tolerated however small

when she said it she was talking to danielle and they were discussing shilpa away from the other housemates so no other housemate heard her, shilpa never heard her use the word but she was talking about her, big brother then realised what she had done and called jade to the diary room and specifically questioned her on the usage of the word "popadom"

If I recall, someone said "She's a little popadom" and I heard it discussed somewhere on another forum.

It wasn't Danielle, Jade or Jo that said it either.

It's how the word is used that makes the difference.

havent heard this anywhere i doubt anyone in the house said it, if they did the word was used in an affectionate way rather than derogatory

Didn't jade not mention that other housemates used the word last week but Dermot cut her off straight away?

It was said on the live streaming but not in the 9pm show.
Stupid Jade probably got the word in her head and used it not knowing it is classed as racial.

i dont like jade, however, what is going over over this CBB think is completely stupid and over the top.

She didnt like Shilpa and yes she was nasty towards her, however, once she heard herself she had the guts to go ans sit Shilpa down, explain everything and apologise.

This was something between jade and shilpa, if they are both fine with it i really dont see why its got anything to do with anyone else.

have you any proof of that? or is it just speculation?

i doubt anyone here would have the nerve to **** someone off and then go up to them, tell them what you said and then apologise for it. That takes guts.

At the end of the day, its was an arguement between 2 people, they sorted it out amongst themselves and no one else should interfer.
