What's with the uproar of people using "..." after every 3 words? Really, its annoying.

In proper use its fine, makes sense, but after every 3rd/5th word of the bulk of unpunctuated writing there is, I for one am getting sick of see-ing it :/

JUST STOP IT.

-.-

as said, like that ^ its ok, but.. after every few words... it starts to get... kind of...annoying...

no?

Yes, as does all excessive grammar!!!!!!!! <-- For example. ;)

couldnt care less. somebody replied to one of my posts with a single comment 'use a goddamn spellchecker'.

umm no but i'll tell you what i will do, i'll go out,get drunk and have a ruddy good time IRL while you sit there and keyboard warrior/spelling nazi my arse. fOOl.

I use it all the time... proper name is ellipsis. You use it to acknowledge when you deliberately miss words out

You're right - it is annoying... there really is no excuse for poor punctation. :p

(I'm a fan of using dashes as well - bet that annoys you too!)

I'd hate to meet some of the people who use it constantly then, I'd never understand what the bork they were on about if they kept missing things out :)

Perhaps if you used a dash instead of a hyphen it would :)

em dash —, en dash –, hyphen -. Totally different.

And you think i care if anyone does take note? Its a forum, people post crap, I add to said pile.

and if i were a grammer nazi, the nazis would fall again :/

There's a difference between someone who uses something and someone who uses something correctly with good reason :)
