.

Can't help you with any information though I'm afraid but I just wanted to say well done :)

Just did some reading up, looks like a great opportunity.

That's the impression I got (teamwork oriented tasks) but I'd like to find someone who's actually done it.

My r61 i got a couple months ago is perfectly fine. Only downside was it didnt come with a cd to reinstall windows xp, so i couldnt format it and make a clean install, so i have ended up with around 30 processes running after a boot up. They dont seem to slow the machine down though, so imo the lenovo thinkpads are great.

Back on topic though, congrats.

Is this where you can stand on your T series laptop and it not break? If so, I passed!

Other than that, this looks pretty interesting! Good luck!

Cheers.

We had a great team for this project. Our personalities all complimented each other well so hopefully that can be used in this challenge... whatever it is.

Go team us aye kreeee :-)

Cant believe we managed to get into the IBM challenge - jus googled to find info on it and found this thread.

Take it easy dude and ill see you after summer

I missed out on going forward to the challenge but a few months ago a group of us at Imperial got the opportunity to guinea pig the IBM innovation workshop where you are given a task to complete ( we had to come up with a way of improving supermarkets ) and then present your idea in front of a group of IBM staff ranging from buisiness to technology.

I imagine the thinkpad challenge is run in a similiar way but with more group resource etc.
