I guess the question is (and only Gibbo and his minions will know), will they be cheaper, the same or more expensive than the VTX3D ones? (Guessing it depends what brand he's found that works)

Oooo did you find some XFX cards?

Nice that they'll come with BF4. Not that I need it but I'm sure I have some friends that could make use of it and help recoup some of the cost.

I'm now in the awkward position of wanting Monday to get here to see the price, etc. and not wanting Monday to get here as I have to work...

1. HIS 290 that are unlockableto 290X two versions- with and without with BF4
2. OcUK Tech Labs Customs R9 290 (unlocked to 290x)

Dang...really wish I didn't order the VTX unlocked today...considering I won't be getting it till Tuesday...

Nm its an EK gpu block then I guess. Shame I was hoping for a cooler that didnt require you to to already have a loop. Back to waiting for a vendor non ref with cooler then.
