.

If thats true, thats a pretty cool story. As if theyd have a V10 M5 though, surely its too old/fragile now.

MI5 peeps use personal cars (I assume, baring in mind the Met Police only issue 15 personal officer cars or something like that :p), only people higher up the food chain use blue lights incase they need to use them. If you knew the reg OP you could run it through a vehicle inquiry and it wouldn't come up ;)

+1 for hindsight of getting dash cam xD this would have been such an epic video!!!! :D

but as for how legit the guy was.... dunno... thing is people always say to "check peoples IDs" people being police, gas service men, basically anyone.... but having never seen a secret service badge before do you just take it at face value for what it is? :p

if it was a real agent....awesome ;) if it wasn't..... you might be on youtube soon ;) haha

pulling back and going for the overtake. Now, I decided to have abit of fun, stuck the 335i in sport, hit the kickdown and went for it. He's still going for the overtake but is completely side by side with me.

Can you just clarify, this seems to suggest that on a single carriageway A road a car went to overtake and you accelerated hard once you realised he was doing so, and continued to do so once he was alongside you?

If it was a grey/silver star shaped badge on a black background probably cid not mi5 and sounds more like cid. Security services don't tend to drive around in cars like that as a normal thing.

They used to do that a bit around here back in the day but the rules tend to be a bit stricter these days.

I was just thinking the same thing

Exactly, he seems to revel in driving dangerously and at risk. Case for having a driving ban, seeing as he's admitted it here as well. I think the word stupid comes to mind...
