Mine shipped yesterday and got an email yesterday saying scheduled for monday delivery, sucks richard, I'd rather at least have a slightly more expensive option for it
@Gibbo

Do you guys intend to offer a faster delivery service to NI? Mainland gets next day but can’t get an order on Thu early PM for Saturday to NI?

@Gibbo Not sure if of interest but this arrived today despite DPD saying it would be Monday which is nice :) Do you guys have an official expectation of Thursday shipments and when they arrive in NI?

Hi there

OK some good and bad news.
Sapphire are reporting an ETD of mid December for the additional 56 and end of December for additional 64.

Thus the deal price will remain until tomorrow (Monday) on Sapphire.

As this deal was based on 5% margin and with pound weakening too high a risk to hold such a price we shall end the deal pricing Monday on the pre order of the 56 the 64 shall remain until sold out which shall no doubt be Monday anyway.

I am warning you guys of this as a suggestion to get your pre order in if you don’t mind waiting as we honour the back orders even if we ship at a loss profit wise.

Asus and Gigabyte Vega deals shall remain!

So expect to see no moaning but only you guys placing pre orders, you’ve been warned!

Feel free to spread word and warn others as a £299 Vega 56 with three games is deal of century and was delivered to you by OcUK! :)

Hi, can anyone who has the Sapphire Vega 56 comment on the fan noise of this card, how loud is it during gaming, I assume the fan turns off completely under a certain temperature etc?

Currently I have a Asus Strix 970 that remains very quiet, would the Sapphire be much louder and if so would I be better off paying a premium for a Vega 56 Strix?

My Vega 56 Pulse arrived this morning, thanks Gibbo for a great deal. But a word of warning for those upgrading from an older cards in my case a HD7950 the Vega will not work on my motherboard a Gigabyte Z68AP D3 and seems from what I can tell a common problem with those older chipsets so I know you have to move fast on great offers like these but unlike me do some research first

I was going to upgrade the MB/CPU/Ram first next year when Zen 2 arrives but most of my budget has gone on the Vega so looks like I will have to store it for a few months unless I can put together a cheap AM4 motherboard and say a Ryzen 3 1200 to tide me over until Zen 2 although looking at how fast the Vegas have sold out and Gibbos update on when fresh supplies are due and the falling pound I could probably just sell it on for a profit ;)

Eric.

Eric.

Looks like there is possibly a fix for you. Source here.

This is the link that points to a solution i believe:

https://community.amd.com/thread/219437

Reading those comments the fix could be flashing a custom bios from the tweaktown forums:

https://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/56453-gigabyte-ga-z68ap-d3-rev-1-uefi-bios-help.html

Assuming the files still exist  i hope so

Thanks for the links Distracted, I had come across those Tweaktown forums earlier about the custom UEFI Bios upgrades but all the links seem to be dead, although I noticed someone posted tonight on there with the exact same problem I have after just buying a Vega 56 so I will keep an eye on it to see if anyone gets back to him on the custom bios files it's worth a try but it might brick the motherboard.

If I remember correctly it was at least a month.
Thank you.

Eeek! I was going to upgrade my 7950 to Vega 56 but then thought I'd hold out for Navi.

Do you think Navi will work with a Gigabyte Z77-D3H? Hard to know I guess with it not being out but this post worries me a bit.

Suppose it helps when you price your Turing cards on average £200 more than competitors with the same item in stock. =|

They are selling but at same time we have 2080Ti from £999, 2080 from £659 and 2070 from £459 so are prices are as good as anywhere else. Premium models are in massive shortage so we charge more to keep sales volume and delivery expectation reasonable.

Sometimes we are cheapest, sometimes we are not, shop around. :)
