1k gaming machine help

hi, ive been using overclockersuk for afew years now but only just signed up on forums.

my question im looking at building a gaming rig for 1k. i need everything OS case etc... i already have monitors.

should i go per-built or what? whatever gives the best for my money.

not bothered about watercooling as i dont overclock everything is at stock.

i havent build a machine from base up in awhile ive only been upgrading

so go ahead spec me - if it helps i play some mmo like rift, bf4, and soon elite dangerous and star citizen so it has to handle those games

i say 1k but i can go abit more to say £1300 but would like to keep as cheap as possible

Go for building your own - it's great fun, and cheaper. You also know what to do when something goes wrong. I'm just getting you a spec now

thanks, now im getting some idea on things. whats so differnt on graphics card i see the geforce has 2gb and the ati has 3gb would there be any performance diffrence between the two

looks great thanks, plus i can crossfire/sli in future
