Out of interest anyone know the size difference bettween this and the origional M3? The 3 series has been getting rapidly fatter down the years so I rekon this could be a return to what the origional M3 was.

So this is BMW's smallest and lightest 1 series and it still weighs in at 1500kg?

For me the only thing that gets me excited about this is that engine which am I right in thinking tunes quite well?

I just find it depressing that BMW's smallest and sportiest coupe still weighs in at 1500kg, they need to make a CSL varient and get it sub 1350kg.


I am assuming its 1500kg simply as PH states 227BHP per tonne and if you times that by 1.5 equals 340BHP which means this weighs 1500kg.
