Only downside I have found with 1Pmobile so far is the reduced data when roaming. 14GB limit, going that's enough, I tend to hammer maps especially and reviews that sort of thing.

No complaints here, been using em for years now.

Went France a few months ago and used the free roaming (again). Everyone else in the car on spendy contracts is having to buy a roaming pass before they can get on data. Mental.

I've been using 1p for a good few years and I can't fault them, but I've started the porting process to a Talk Home SIM (EE) because it was £7.49 for 50GB instead of £10 with 1p.

Quite tempted to run a Vodafone eSIM as well because there are still so many places in the UK that get rubbish signal.

I really wouldn't bother.
For the last 4 years I've been traveling all over the UK and for the last 18 months I've used 1p Mobile (EE) and Smarty (Three).
EE fails nowhere and that's why I've now only gone on to the £7.49 for 50gb Talk Home.
If you do, get the cheapest deal you can get for the 2nd sim eg £2.49 and see if you ever need it.

It might work for you, but I have countless examples of where EE fails for me:

- The underpass at Ealing Broadway station
- My son's swimming classes in Guildford (two different locations)
- Cwmcarn mountain biking centre in South Wales
etc etc.

If I could find a Vodafone eSIM for £2.49, I'd sign up in a heartbeat. The cheapest I've found so far is £5.95 with Talkmobile.

The mobile coverage in the UK is diabolical if you've travelled to other parts of the world like Japan.

Is Vodafone on Three now?
I was going to say that over a couple of months about two years ago I tried all 4 Networks and my results were:
1) EE
2) Three
3) Vodafone
4) O2.

I couldn't afford EE at the time so went on Smarty.
I was just giving an example that you might be able to find a very cheap Vodafone deal for £2.49 for 5gb or something.
If Three and Vodafone are now combined then you have more to go at because Smarty have good deals.
