I don't disagree, but I'm just very wary of putting Campbell and Senderos together in the middle. As I said, I don't think I've ever seen them play well together, and I think Juve would be as much a risk to hope they finally click as it would be to test Djourou/Gilbert.

For me, Kolo HAS to stay in the middle, because he's the best player we have there right now, with either Sol or Phil. Therefore, RB has to be someone else, and the only players I can see to play there are the ones I mentioned.

come on utd, awesome result for us today. big game against arsenal next week, hopefully chelsea will drop more points again :D

Some pretty good goals today, especially Tel's screamer, although feeble Villa did make things easy for us, poor old O'Leary, I think his days are definitely numbered.

I hope Fabregas and Eboue aren't as injured as they looked, we need both fit for Wednesday.

A great "Rocky Rocastle" day as well and the tribute on the screen left quite a few of us with a lump in our throats and reminded us of how damn good he was and what a stupid mistake it was to sell him.

RIP Rocky mate, it's been five long years and you may be gone, but you'll NEVER be fogotten.

been in a few mins and wehey...

3-1 newcastle.. was not expecting a win at all... but hats off to the lads. still wont warrant half of them places in the team next year hopefully :p...

hope we can nudge into top half of the table... o'niell for new manager next season.. its looking a bit better for newcastle fans.

and again arsenal... they are absolutely amazing, thats what champions should play like, watching them is just quality, i hope they win the champions league..

We really are very poor at the moment, Heskey was the most dangerous player on the pitch & he was ****, says it all really.
Something is definitely up, I think JM must be giving off some real bad vibes now that his honeymoon period is over.:(

I get the impression that all is not rosey at the bridge and it could be to do with certain senior players not being happy with some of the other players. I know players like Lampard & Terry were not happy with Robben earlier in the season after his antics in the Liverpool game and things like that will definately affect the squad.

There is a lot of bad press going about lately and reading in the paper this morning that Terry wants a better image for the club and a player like Terry (the captain) strongly stamping down on diving and play acting kinda goes against the grain of jose who basically cheated his way to the UEFA Cup and CL trophies with pathetic displays of sportsmanship with the likes of Deco etc diving and play acting at every opportunity.

I can see a big shake up in the summer with possibly players like Robben looking elsewhere for a club.

the whole diving debate has really stung chelsea... the whole cheating debate.. fair enough its every club, but the media and basically everyone has attacked chelsea for it..

Agreed. The third goal was class, great touch by Adebayor and class finish. Nice skils by RVP too for the fourth. Both keepers made some great saves too. Loads of show boating too :D Both Cesc and Eboue are rated at 40-60 for the Juve game. I'm more worried at Right back as Diaby would be a more defensive option so Midfield doesn't concern me as much.

Great day, one of the better themed match day, I certainly had to hold back the emotion. RIP Rocky, Legend. Some clips of him, the boy was class

Oh Rocky,Rocky...Rocky,Rocky,Rocky,Rocky - Rocastle!!!!!

Top atmosphere at the game today....."Have you ever seen Chelsea, Ever seen Chelsea, Ever seen Chelsea play like this"?...."Have you ****".

Barca 1-1 Real Madrid at half time. Barca have been the better team but Madrid actually seem to have played better since Roberto Carlos was sent off (2 yellows, both times for arguing with the ref).

Barca's penalty was a bit dodgy but was easily put away by Ronaldinho. Excellent finish from Ronaldo for Real's goal though. Beckham has been really quiet as Cicinho has done more attacking than the right wing than he has.

Should be a good 2nd half. I don't think weve seen the last of the sendings offs. Van Bommel is a likely candidate!

Real are doing quite well considering they are down to 10 men. Van Bommel was looking for it but it was a penalty for me. Carlos got a straight red I think.

Beckham hasn't been able to bomb forward really though.

Cicinho is very poor defensively and Beckham is probably aware of this, perhaps holding back more to cover for Cicinho's surging runs forward?

Either way, Madrid will do well to get a result here. I get the impression this referee is playing for the Barcelona crowd a lot of the time. Some calls have been very generous towards Barcelona. Lots of free kicks around the edge of the box for minimal contact...

/EDIT - Some idiot has just run onto the pitch and gone charging up to Ronaldinho before falling to his knees and bowing in front of him. What a turd.
