1st build - advice please

Hi, make sure that if you are going for the AMD bundle, you will want to change the one you picked as you have picked the Watercooled bundle, which come with a water block rather than a air cooler.

Its not a water block, its a H50, so he can keep the watercooled bundle

Its a nice build, good choice on the monitor too.

650-750W is absolutely all you'll need so don't bother getting anything higher than that. Antec cases are usually crap apart from p190 tbh. At that price you can get Cosmos which is like heaven better than the crappy A900 or 1200 flashy neon dust magnets.

Just my 2p.

Also you might consider getting just 1 5770 and see how that works for you and then adding second later if you feel like needing extra power. I'm pretty sure a single 5770 is good enough to handle most stuff even at high res unless you're 16AA 32AF maniac...

reckon your probably right tbh, so have stuck an extra HDD in instead and cut down to the one 5770 gfx card (will still change it if the 5800's are in stock when i order :) )

what are the antecs like for reliability? I was always led to believe that the power supply is the one place you shouldnt skrimp on

EDIT: have read some reviews and its come out with glowing reports so good call thanks :)

ditch the antec (terrible customer support and very rude staff)and corsair well if only i was allowed to link a vid from the tube to here you'd probably never buy a corsair psu again.

Get a enermax revolution 85+ If u live in leicester you can get them somewhere local.

u decided on that psu yet

well definately not going for a corsair now, I like the look of the antec due to it being designed for the case, the customer support is something I can live with I reckon, and like i say all the reviews I have seen suggest its a great psu

i'll be using enermax from now on
did u know we have a enermax and gigabyte authorised dealer in leicester

The Enermax 85+ revolution series of psus are AMAZING!! Everyone i know has nothing but good words to say about them but....The price :(...If you can stretch to one then you will probably never need a psu again...

my point exactly u only need to open up a corsair psu to see how cheaply and p*ss poor they are made open up a enermax and it's a whole different story it's like each one was crafted by the big man himself lol

right have now been advised that for the money im spending there may be a better option as to what I had selected, my head is spinning lol. Any way heres what was recommended

what do you think?

It comes in at £1338 which leaves me just enough for the 850w enermax and is just within maximum budget give or take a fiver.
