Palit..... I'm running a couple of other Palit cards that have been good servants so I don't have the paranoia about the brand others do....

These are reference cards anyways so they'll all be made in the same place with different stickers slapped on 'em.

Ok, name a game that level of tesselation is used and changed 5870 performance to 460gtx performance.... here's a hint 3dmark and uniengine don't count as games. Paying 50% more for a game that may or may not come out in the next year, is stupid. I could have paid 100% more for a 480gtx based on uniengine 6-7 months ago, and that tesselation performance still wouldn't mean anything.

Oh, and if we got US pricing on the 5970 this wouldn't be a discussion, EASILY the fastest card, often by 30-40% is like $450 in the US at the moment. Why aren't we getting EOL pricing on the 5970 here, its the single best value card, maybe ever, in the US right now, here its basically the same price it always was :(

Tosh. Here is a hint. Metro2033 / Hawx2 to name but a few.

In regards to a 5970 I agree that if we had US prices it would be a nice single gfx card to have.

But were NOT in USA!

Oh and BTW, were not in USA.

I know I mentioned that twice, but it was such a BIG flaw it was worth mentioning it twice.

Lol...if you listen to what people tell you on the internet about such things, no one would buy anything as EVERY tech manufacturer out there has someone telling you how crap they are....and what a nightmare they are for warrantys and RMA service.

Oh wouldn't take those reviews too seriously on overclocking results either... most of the initial 470 reviews only got to mid 700MHz clocks when very few people can't manage 800MHz and quite a lot of cards will do mid 800s. I fully expect those 570 cards to do atleast 900MHz stable with a minor voltage bump.

You heard it here peeps! If your 570 can't do at least 900Mhz Rroff will refund you ;) :p
