1st RAID SETUP

Hi guys tomorrow im going to try setting up my first Raid0 set up and id like some tips and little bits of help witch hopfuly will stop me ******* it all up!

my Mobo is a P5Q-E and i have 5 HDs two are 320Gb one is a 500Gb and the other two are 80Gb (the two ill use for my raid0)

All so dose it matter witch SATA slots the 80Gb drive are in?

No, it doesn't matter which SATA ports they go into. It's all pretty simple to set up. Just hit Ctrl-I when you get the option during boot, choose the drives and the RAID mode, and that's about it. Just make absolutely sure you pick the right drives as you'll lose data if you get it wrong.

If you're doing this for your OS, you might find your single 500gb is faster than the 2 80gb drives if it's quite new.

its not its around a year old plus its full
